We are a social enterprise founded in 2014 in Kigali, Rwanda. We use human-centered design to equip women and girls in underserved communities with affordable and sustainable menstrual and reproductive health solutions that strengthen agency and enable full participation in society.
We work at the intersection of innovation in menstrual hygiene, digital health, and community engagement to eliminate period poverty and break the silence around menstrual health for women and girls in Rwanda and beyond.

KosmoPads

KosmoPads are cost-effective, breathable, and highly absorbent reusable menstrual pads made in Rwanda. Each one is designed for maximum leak protection and comfort, with durability tested for up to 120 washes. Our eco-friendly dignity kits reduce menstrual waste and make menstrual hygiene management more affordable and accessible. We distribute KosmoPads to women, girls, and institutional partners across Rwanda, the DRC, the Central African Republic, and Kenya.

KosmoHealth

KosmoHealth is our AI-powered digital health platform supporting women and girls with reproductive and menstrual health across East Africa. Women and girls can track their menstrual cycles, access bite-sized sexual health education, and connect with a supportive community. Featuring an anonymous AI health chatbot, KosmoHealth offers a safe space to ask sensitive questions about reproductive and menstrual health freely.
