Great News!
Hello everyone, we are beyond thrilled to announce that our very dear Founder and CEO, Blandine Umuziranenge, has completed the prestigious and competitive Winter 2025 Milestone Makers program at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurship Center. This is a significant event for Kosmotive, and an important milestone for us as we make efforts to accelerate action in 2025 towards our Mission.
The Nasdaq Milestone Makers program is a highly competitive initiative that supports entrepreneurs whose businesses align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year, the Program focused on two SDGs: Reduced Inequalities (SDG #10) and Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG #16). The program lasted over 12 weeks, during which cohort participants received world-class mentorship, coaching, and industry expertise to refine their strategies and drive greater impact.
At Kosmotive, our mission has always been to improve Reproductive, Maternal, and Child Health in Rwanda and throughout Africa. Our goal in this program was to develop a Sustainable funding model for scale, and Blandine worked diligently to strengthen our business approach and position Kosmotive for long-term growth. From publishing Cosmos Magazine to running the KosmoHealth platform, manufacturing and distributing KosmoPads ( eco-friendly reusable sanitary pads), and empowering mothers through KosmoWearables, Kosmotive aims to promote Feminine Freedom despite the Flow.
This experience has no doubt been transformative and has equipped us with the insights and tools needed to expand our reach and deepen our impact in communities across Rwanda and beyond.
We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to Nasdaq, KPMG US, Lehigh University, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, HubSpot, BPM LLP, and Google Cloud for their generous support. Their commitment to empowering purpose-driven entrepreneurs encourages us to continue.
Now that we've celebrated this achievement, what comes next for us?
With the valuable knowledge gained from the Nasdaq Milestone Makers program, Kosmotive will work on accelerating its mission of empowering women and girls with access to Reproductive health Information, as well as pursuing Economic opportunities, and efforts in Policy advocacy. The implementation of this model will help us drive sustainable change, ensuring menstrual equity, gender equality, and economic empowerment for millions of women across Africa.
Once more, Congratulations, Blandine (tag her LinkedIn account ) and all other Winter 2025 Milestone Makers for their dedication to driving positive change.
Connect with us as we continue striving towards sustainable solutions, and revolutionising Menstrual and reproductive Health.
